Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities

• Execute routine analytical assays to support water and wastewater sales teams
• Perform wet chemistry tasks including acid and colorimetric titration, serial dilutions, and pipetting
• Operate analytical instrumentation such as ICP-OES, IC, and HPLC
• Conduct standard water testing and respirometry
• Manage sample receiving, tracking, and data entry
• Support new product development and routine testing of existing products
• Provide analytical support for various sample types including boiler, condensate, cooling tower, and wastewater samples

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Direct experience with analytical instrumentation (ICP-OES, IC, and HPLC)
• Ability to manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously
