Analyst/Sr. Analyst, Strategy & Operations, CMC & Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantitative analyses including NPV/ROI modeling, build-vs-buy assessments, and cost optimization to support CMC and Supply Chain leadership decisions.
• Identify and implement improvements for existing workflows, templates, and analytical processes.
• Gather and validate technical, financial, and market inputs to support strategic trade-off discussions.
• Support recurring business rhythms such as Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reviews, launch readiness, and risk updates.
• Track cross-functional deliverables and milestones to identify and surface potential bottlenecks or misalignments.
• Maintain CMC/Supply Chain KPIs, dashboards, risk registers, and continuity playbooks.
• Prepare concise, audience-ready slides, pre-reads, and meeting notes for senior leadership discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business or scientific field (e.g., Economics, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, etc.).
• 0–2 years of full-time experience.
• Meaningful wet lab experience (academic research or professional).
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to deconstruct ambiguous problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (including basic financial modeling).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity (at least 3 days per week in-office in San Francisco or Palo Alto).

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual background in both business and science.
• Experience or internships in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate roles within a therapeutics company.
• Familiarity with BI/data-visualization tools or programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
