Analyst/Senior Analyst – Technical IM

DESRI (formerly D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments) is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects throughout the United States. We have acquired or developed approximately 11.9 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 80 renewable energy projects in 24 states.

Responsibilities

• Source, review, and manage technical documents from development through operations
• Collaborate with developers, construction managers, asset managers, EPC/O&M contractors, and global teams
• Track project milestones and follow up to ensure documentation completeness
• Maintain and update the master document register including drawings, datasheets, testing, permits, and site studies
• Enforce document control standards regarding naming, numbering, folder structure, and archiving
• Manage document transition from pipeline to operational portfolio
• Ensure completeness of technical data in asset management ERP systems
• Drive process improvements and promote better collaboration across stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• One to three years of professional experience in Engineering Information Management
• Experience in the Renewables or Energy industries preferred
• Ability to review technical drawings, test reports, and equipment data
• Practical knowledge of Workflow Management, Folder Management, and Revision Control on EDMS tools
• Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process automation and data visualization using Python, R, VBA, SQL, or Power BI
