Analyst/Senior Analyst - Legal Operations

DESRI (formerly D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments) is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects throughout the United States. We have acquired or developed approximately 13 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 85 renewable energy projects in 24 states.

Responsibilities

• Support legal operations and partner closely with commercial, finance, and deal teams
• Manage operational and transactional matters including KYCs, entity management, and corporate records
• Support entity formations, restructuring, and ensure timely filings and documentation
• Mentor a team responsible for high-volume operational workflows
• Drive process improvement initiatives through standardization, automation, and optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in compliance and operational workflows
• Experience with entity management, KYCs, and regulatory compliance for US operations
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Experience with legal technology tools, AI-based platforms, or document automation systems
• Ability to work effectively with US-based legal teams in a cross-border environment
