Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with production teams to understand game-related needs and formulate research questions
• Analyze, explore, and combine various data sources to identify trends, observations, and predictions
• Transform complex data into actionable recommendations for creative teams
• Design and maintain clear and relevant data visualizations
• Translate analytical results into data stories accessible to different audiences
• Present results, recommendations, and discuss associated action plans
• Coordinate data tracking efforts using project management principles
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data tools and processes in partnership with other teams

Requirements

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to use SQL and Python for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis
• Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams
• Ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
• Application of quantitative and qualitative research methods
• Strong interest in the video game industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PySpark and Databricks
• Understanding of player safety issues (moderation, reputation, positive play)
