Analyst/Associate, Relationship Manager for Japanese Corporate Banking

Responsibilities

• Promote a range of MUFG products and services to various Japanese corporate clients
• Support the Department Head in delivering banking services to meet revenue targets
• Identify, structure, and process banking solutions including Cash Management, Derivatives, Trade Finance, Lending, and Funding
• Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with customers to finalize deals
• Perform financial modeling on customers and their businesses to support deal proposals
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including KYC, credit, compliance, and legal aspects of potential transactions
• Prepare deal proposals and credit applications aligned with business strategy and risk mitigation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Fluent conversational Japanese (N2 level) and proficiency in English
• Strong knowledge of macro and microeconomics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry
