Analyst/Associate, Investments & Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new investments for institutional investors across multiple property types and locations
• Prepare discounted cash flow models including complex waterfall fee structures
• Analyze investment opportunities in operating companies, separate accounts, programmatic joint ventures, and funds
• Evaluate potential investment partners based on track records, strategies, and financial structures
• Research and develop knowledge of industry trends and participants
• Review existing assets including performance reporting, hold/sell analyses, and capital plans
• Prepare reports and presentations for the Investment Committee and clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or quantitative field
• Experience in quantitative analysis through internships or professional work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis
• Knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting and valuation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analyst level: 0-3 years of experience
• Associate level: 3-6 years of experience

• Demonstrated interest in quantitative analysis within the real estate industry
• Ability to structure quantitative and qualitative problem-solving approaches
• High attention to detail and accuracy
