Analyst, US Direct Lending

Responsibilities

• Assist the deal team in screening new investment opportunities and re-underwriting existing credits
• Perform complex financial analysis, market research, and LBO modeling, including base case and downside sensitivities
• Support Associates and Senior Associates in preparing Investment Committee materials
• Coordinate deal closings with internal teams and external counterparties
• Monitor a portfolio of existing investments by reviewing borrower financials and covenant compliance
• Prepare internal portfolio reporting, quarterly valuations, and analytical support for amendment processes
• Maintain complex, Excel-based CLO models for quarterly fund valuations
• Support fundraising efforts through the preparation of loan tapes, portfolio analysis, and investor due diligence questionnaires

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, investment banking, or buy-side research
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and research capabilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
