Analyst, Trade Finance Middle Office

Responsibilities

• Review term sheets, credit applications, and facility documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards
• Assist with the maintenance, creation, and set-up of facilities using transaction management systems
• Support the review of client drawdown requests to ensure alignment with approved facility terms
• Examine Guarantee and Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) wordings and participate in negotiations
• Provide administrative support for non-commodity and commodity-related business products
• Engage in daily communication with clients, relationship managers, and product managers to resolve issues
• Monitor inward communications and prioritize tasks with a focus on client centricity
• Track balances between accounting systems and exposure management tools to maintain accurate records
• Participate in projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Trade Finance Middle Office

Requirements

• Previous operational experience within Guarantees or Trade Finance product environments
• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in core academic subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail regarding documentation review and data entry
• Ability to remain calm and perform consistently under pressure during peak workloads
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and proactivity

Preferred Qualifications

• A Levels (or equivalent)
• Additional language skills such as French, German, Dutch, or Spanish
