Analyst Quality Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for eCommerce websites and APIs
• Use SmartBear tools such as TestComplete, SoapUI, and LoadNinja to perform UI, functional, performance, and API testing
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, and DevOps to identify defects and validate fixes
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
• Ensure web pages comply with performance, usability, and accessibility standards
• Maintain and improve test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in eCommerce or web application testing
• Experience using SmartBear test tools (TestComplete, SoapUI, LoadNinja, BitBar)
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, QAComplete, or Zephyr
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, smoke testing)
• Solid knowledge of cross-browser and responsive testing best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing Shopify, Magento, or other major eCommerce platforms
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or VBScript for test automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA's role within the SDLC
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and tools like Axe or Wave
