Analyst-Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of financial crime activity across MUFG branches to ensure control process outputs meet established quality objectives.
• Communicate QA review results to appropriate parties and ensure findings are addressed in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining written QA procedures and operating manuals in accordance with GFCD QA Standards.
• Support the implementation of coordinated, consistent, and risk-based QA programs.
• Escalate errors and exceptions identified during reviews in accordance with escalation and issues management standards.
• Coordinate with Regional Issues Management to monitor and track the resolution of identified issues and action plans.
• Support general compliance activities and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 3-5 years of experience within the financial crimes area of a global bank, consulting firm, or regulatory agency.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Compliance Testing, or Audit function.
• Proven experience in drafting, designing, and executing QA reviews in accordance with global policies and standards.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Crimes Compliance laws and regulations (Sanctions, AML, KYC, and ABC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
