Analyst, Prospect Development

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze prospect information using internal systems and external sources, including financial capacity, philanthropic interests, and social networks
• Provide strategic recommendations on prospect assignment, engagement pathways, and solicitation strategies
• Partner with gift officers and Development leaders on portfolio optimization and prospect strategy discussions
• Prepare high-quality written communications that translate complex research into actionable insights for cultivation and stewardship
• Maintain accurate prospect documentation within the CRM system and collaborate on data integrity
• Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive donor and prospect information

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in prospect development, fundraising, or a related analytical role
• Strong research and analytical abilities with the skill to synthesize information from multiple sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically the ability to turn complex details into clear recommendations
• Experience assessing information to make strategic recommendations in a professional setting
• Proficiency with CRM systems and data management

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in major gift fundraising, healthcare philanthropy, or nonprofit operations
