Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the performance and availability of Fidelity’s customer-facing transactional sites
• Provide full maintenance and support for high and low severity issues across production web applications
• Perform rapid incident response and service restoration following unanticipated outages or disruptions
• Drive root cause detection and resolution to ensure long-term stability
• Provide 1st line technical support and assist in the design and coding of technical fixes
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and support UK shifts
• Collaborate with Unix, DBA, and other development teams to safeguard production services
• Contribute to Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning, and application recovery documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java or Spring Boot development or support
• Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend and React.js for frontend development
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, and Cloud Foundry
• Basic understanding of the Unix operating system
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Willingness to work UK shifts and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
