Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support risk, performance, cash flow management, and compliance services for clients
• Interpret legislation, regulations, standards, and client mandates to code rules in compliance systems
• Maintain understanding of investment risk metrics including VaR, CVaR, exposure metrics, and liquidity analysis
• Perform scenario analysis and stress testing of funds
• Take ownership of operational aspects regarding compliance monitoring, cash flow management, and risk calculations
• Interrogate and analyze data to resolve internal and external client queries
• Assist senior team members with projects and the onboarding of new clients
• Conduct market research and perform ad hoc analytical tasks as required

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of industry experience in a similar role
• Specific exposure to compliance, cash flow management, or risk reporting
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, investments, mathematics, or statistics
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Honours degree in a relevant field
• Knowledge of VBA
• Exposure to relevant investment, compliance, risk, and cash flow management systems
