Analyst, Portfolio Management Group - Diversified Industrials and Metals/Mining

Responsibilities

• Support the management of a commercial loan portfolio within the Diversified Industrials and Metals/Mining industry vertical
• Perform due diligence and regular evaluations of assigned loan portfolios to assess credit risk and profiles
• Prepare detailed credit analyses and applications, evaluating corporate, regulatory, and industry risks
• Monitor covenant compliance, facility closing due diligence, and ongoing credit conditions
• Collaborate with Senior Portfolio Managers to develop financing structures for LBO, M&A, and corporate re-capitalization opportunities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of macro-level risk factors and industry-specific trends
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 1-3 years of substantive experience in portfolio management, corporate credit, or a similar analytical role
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Advanced financial modeling skills required for credit applications and quarterly presentations
• Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a formal credit-training program at a money center bank
• CFA designation or progress toward designation
