Analyst, Network & Telecom

Responsibilities

• Automate day-to-day GNOC operational tasks and activities using NetDevops principles.
• Manage and track projects using GitLab, including the creation of CI/CD pipelines to support automation and telemetry services.
• Develop and implement data visualization tools, dashboards, and monitoring services.
• Manage Docker containers hosting telemetry, monitoring, and visualization applications.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver network service business goals.
• Contribute to project lifecycles, specifically focusing on observability and monitoring components.
• Develop Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate workflows and perform health check scans.
• Utilize SQL and Python for data analysis to identify network trends and insights.

Requirements

• Strong experience with automation technologies including Ansible and Python scripting.
• Proficiency with ELKStack and Linux environments (Redhat, Ubuntu).
• Experience with Bash/shell scripting and database management (MySQL, MongoDB, SQL).
• Hands-on exposure to DevOps concepts, specifically CI/CD techniques and tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of observability tools and telemetry data (performance, network, and capacity monitoring).
• Proficiency with monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds (SaaS), Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Solid understanding of networking technologies (CCNA/CCNP level) and protocols like Netflow, SNMP, and Syslog.
• Experience working with APIs (REST, XML, JSON).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Professional certifications such as Fortinet Certified Professional, CCNA/CCNP, or Python/Ansible certifications.
• Experience with web frameworks like Django for internal workflow applications.
