Analyst, MES Applications

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems and develop automated systems to improve manufacturing efficiency
• Determine required system improvements and supervise implementation to meet customer requirements
• Write functional and technical specifications for developers
• Perform analysis, evaluation, testing, and debugging for shop floor application programs
• Provide day-to-day end-user service and technical support for software and hardware
• Perform software configuration and setups for new customers in the MES tracking system
• Write medical documentation in compliance with FDA regulations for medical customers
• Troubleshoot software/hardware failures and identify network problems related to shop floor computers

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of industry experience working with SQL/MES Applications
• Proficiency in MS-SQL, T-SQL, and SQL-Profiler
• Experience creating SSRS Reports, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and Indexing
• Strong background in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) support
• Experience with Tableau Data Visualization
• Proven track record in Application Support
• Ability to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:15 PM, Mon-Fri) in Austin, TX

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Python programming skills
• Experience with OPC servers and PLC integration for data capture
• .NET and API programming experience
• Knowledge of Non-Relational Databases (ELK, MongoDB)
