Analyst Macro Product Control

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial aspects of trading activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the bank's trading book.
• Reconcile daily profit and loss (P&L) figures for trading desks and resolve discrepancies to reflect true economic value.
• Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks, reporting findings to senior colleagues.
• Maintain and analyze trading data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities and support external audits.
• Communicate complex financial information effectively to traders, risk professionals, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a coordinated approach to trading activities and risk management.

Requirements

• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in product control or a related financial field.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, concepts, and underlying trading mechanics.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make evaluative judgments based on factual information.
• Strong communication skills to convey sensitive or complex information to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage risk and strengthen controls in line with relevant rules, regulations, and codes of conduct.
