Analyst - Loan Operations

Responsibilities

• Support servicing activities for a portfolio of commercial loans, including lines of credit, reimbursements, syndications, and agency loans.
• Prepare loan documentation and manage various loan processing tasks within a complex operations environment.
• Process interest and commitment fees, deal closings, restructures, and amendments.
• Manage the booking of borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs, payoffs, and commitment reductions.
• Maintain collateral and associated insurance documentation.
• Investigate discrepancies and perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure all lending transactions are booked correctly to minimize operational risks and ensure compliance with bank policies.
• Escalate control gaps and issues to senior management to mitigate risk or control losses.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience working within a complex financial services environment.
• Working knowledge of financial products, accounting principles, and compliance regulations.
• Exposure to commercial and corporate lending processes.
• Proficiency with lending systems such as ACBS, AFS, or OVS.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with customers, investors, and agent banks.
