Analyst IT Security II

Responsibilities

• Design and develop curated security datasets in Microsoft Fabric using Lakehouse/Warehouse patterns and OneLake
• Build and maintain robust ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks (Spark), and SQL
• Implement layered medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold) for scanner data, ServiceNow VR data, and CMDB ownership
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation controls, logging, and alerting to ensure pipeline reliability
• Produce analytics-ready tables for KPIs such as remediation aging, SLA compliance, and vulnerability recurrence
• Support source control and environment promotion using Git integration and Azure DevOps
• Document data contracts, definitions, and lineage to ensure trust and consistency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data transformations
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Pipelines, and Notebooks)
• Experience supporting data ingestion and integrations via REST APIs or ServiceNow concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and/or SecOps Vulnerability Response
• Certifications such as ServiceNow CSA, CIS-SecOps, Microsoft DP-600, or DP-203
• Experience integrating security scanners like Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7
• Familiarity with AppSec tools such as Snyk, Veracode, or Checkmarx
• Working knowledge of vulnerability management concepts (CVEs, CVSS, and remediation SLAs)
