About the role
Responsibilities
- Rack, stack, install, configure, decommission, and replace servers, storage systems, and network equipment
- Perform hardware diagnostics and component-level replacements including drives, memory, and power supplies
- Ensure equipment installation adheres to data center standards and best practices
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, application, and network connectivity issues
- Maintain accurate asset inventory records and system documentation
- Proactively identify risks and execute infrastructure improvements to increase reliability and uptime
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in data centers
- Strong understanding of server, storage, and networking hardware
- Familiarity with operating systems and basic networking concepts
- Ability to work the 2nd shift (3pm-12am)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mission-critical environments
- Familiarity with DCIM tools and ticketing systems like ServiceNow
- Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or vendor hardware certifications
