Analyst, Insurance and Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Asset Management and Project Managers to gather property and insurance exposure information
• Maintain schedules of values and related insurance budget and allocation information
• Prepare and review insurance renewal submissions and new policy placements
• Review insurance quotes, binders, policies, and endorsements for accuracy
• Collect and submit documentation to support property-related loss claims
• Coordinate risk engineering and loss prevention site visits
• Support administrative requirements for the captive insurer, City Lights Insurance Company
• Process payment requests and documentation related to insurance renewals and policy changes
• Work with insurance brokers to request certificates of insurance and other documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience in commercial insurance, brokerage, risk management, or related fields preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, document review, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• New York City residency required within 180 days of hire
