Analyst - India KYC

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality KYC profiles in accordance with the latest global policies and procedures
• Research and analyze large amounts of data to assess higher risk attributes such as geography, product, and industry type
• Obtain and update missing client documentation by collaborating with Relationship Managers
• Follow up on client profiles and ensure all sign-offs align with the established escalation matrix
• Interface with Compliance, Sanctions, and Relationship Managers regarding pending or aging profiles
• Analyze the implications of mergers and acquisitions on the legal identities and ownership structures of various entities
• Meet monthly productivity and quality targets while maintaining a high degree of accuracy

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) or Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• Graduation in Commerce, Finance, or an equivalent field
• Strong understanding of legal structures for various client types, including financial institutions, corporates, trusts, and funds
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with banking platforms
• Knowledge of AML/KYC tools such as SWIFT KYC Registry, Factiva, Bankers Almanac, RDC, or Fenergo
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work different shift timings

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as ACAMS, ICA, or IIBF KYC
• Experience specifically within commercial banking KYC
