Analyst - India Controller

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for India-based entities
• Maintain accounting records in compliance with Indian GAAP and the Companies Act
• Prepare and review key reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules
• Manage tax compliance activities including GST, withholding tax (TDS), and corporate tax
• Assist with tax assessments, audits, and documentation requirements
• Support statutory, tax, and internal audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely compliance
• Maintain compliance calendars, trackers, and process documentation

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–3 years of post-qualification experience
• Hands-on experience in legal entity accounting and financial reporting under Indian GAAP
• Practical knowledge of Indian tax and regulatory compliance, including GST and TDS
• Experience supporting statutory audits and managing internal financial controls
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with Workiva or Workday financials is a plus
