About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review project designs, implementation methodologies, EPC contracts, schedules, and quotations.
  • Conduct site visits to assess physical project progress and estimate implementation timelines.
  • Estimate project capex requirements and monitor expenditure against project progress.
  • Identify and highlight potential risks impacting project execution and compliance.
  • Support and execute Techno-Economic Viability (TEV) studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPR), and Lenders’ Independent Engineer (LIE) assessments.
  • Perform technical and industry analysis to assist in preparing financial models.
  • Coordinate with technical consultants and conduct secondary research to validate cost assumptions.
  • Draft comprehensive reports and present assessment outcomes to clients and banking stakeholders.

Requirements

  • MBA in Finance and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in financial modelling and project management/appraisal.
  • Experience executing debt restructuring mandates.
  • Hands-on exposure to construction and project monitoring, including scheduling and cost control.
  • Proficiency in both English and Hindi.
  • Willingness to travel for site assessments as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of construction management programs from NICMAR.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high business awareness.
