Analyst II, Chemistry Laboratory

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and moderate complexity analytical studies of samples, including preparation, extraction, and digestion
• Follow official methods and laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare, submit, and file reports on client sample tests, calibration, and validation
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
• Develop and validate analytical methods and safety/quality documents
• Provide technical training and support to other Analysts
• Maintain Laboratory Notebooks and adhere to internal standards

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline
• 5+ years of laboratory experience in chromatography
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline with 2+ years of experience in chromatography
