Analyst II, Chemistry Laboratory

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and moderate complexity analytical studies of samples, including preparation, extraction, and digestion
• Prepare, submit, and file reports on client sample tests, calibration, and validation
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
• Develop and validate analytical methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Provide technical training and support to Analysts in data analysis
• Manage multiple projects and maintain Laboratory Notebooks
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a similar discipline
• 2+ years of laboratory experience in gas chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
• Or a Master's degree with research laboratory experience in GC and HPLC

• Experience with Empower software
