Analyst I - Wet Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine analytical studies of samples including preparation, extraction, and digestion
• Follow official methods and laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist in preparation, submission, and filing of reports on client sample tests and calibration
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
• Support development of analytical methods and safety/quality documents
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook and adhere to internal standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related Science discipline
• 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories
• Experience in wet chemistry techniques including Particle size analysis, XRD analysis, ICP analysis, and titration assays
