Analyst, GCIB KYC

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer identification and due diligence for new GCIB customers to assess money laundering risk profiles prior to onboarding.
• Perform ongoing monitoring of existing customers' money laundering risk profiles in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Execute sanction screening, negative press assessments, and corruption allegation checks for all authorized individuals.
• Conduct periodic KYC reviews and extraordinary reviews when customer profile changes are detected.
• Perform quality control by cross-checking KYC due diligence reports prepared by team members prior to submission for approval.
• Collaborate closely with GCIB coverage teams and Financial Crime divisions to ensure compliant onboarding.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in compliance, banking, accounting, legal, consultancy, or regulatory sectors.
• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong research and analytical skills to investigate customers, regulations, and banking products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter while remaining a collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in AML/KYC fields.
• Professional certifications such as ACAMS, CPA, or CA.
• Relevant Master's degree qualification.
• General understanding of financial business, the economy, and global markets.
