Analyst - Funds Finance (FF)

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Funds Finance borrowers, performing detailed due diligence and underwriting for subscription/capital call facilities and foreign exchange limits.
• Oversee end-to-end annual renewals of limits, amendments, waivers, and borrower ratings in collaboration with Product teams and Credit Officers.
• Conduct covenant checks and prepare periodic monitoring reports.
• Support the preparation of presentations for Management reporting and Credit Committee meetings.
• Prepare periodic sector reports and perform portfolio stress tests regarding exchange rate volatility, liquidity crises, and tariff impacts.
• Manage internal, external, and regulatory audits, including inspections from JFSA, OCC, BoJ, and FED.
• Maintain credit files in accordance with Bank procedures and requirements.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent from a premier institute.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CFA, or FRM.
• 1-2 years of experience as an FI credit analyst within a Global Capability Centre (GCC) or Centre of Excellence (CoE).
• Strong financial statement analysis skills and understanding of credit analysis for subscription/capital call facilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other credit-related applications.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to assess the impact of the macroeconomic environment on borrowers and portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in foreign exchange or derivatives.
• Existing exposure to US markets.
• Experience managing a credit portfolio in a similar organizational setup.
