Analyst, Franchise Merchandise Planning - Athleta

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Athleta Merchandising Planning lead, acting as the primary expert and strategic partner for product-related initiatives.
• Own division and category-level Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and oversee investment review meetings.
• Execute cross-regional merchandising planning initiatives, including sales reporting and wholesale pricing strategies.
• Build strong partnerships with internal teams such as Merchandising, Production, and Distribution, as well as external Franchisees.
• Influence partner investments by leveraging data-driven analysis and financial insights.
• Develop new processes and tools to evolve with the fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in merchandise planning or buying.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and complex formula knowledge.
• Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to present financial data to diverse audiences.
• High level of business acumen and strategic agility to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a self-directed role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale or consultant-style roles.
• Spanish language proficiency.
