Analyst, Fintech Licensing

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile state license applications, leading projects for license acquisition, change of control, and license maintenance.
• Advise clients on licensing and product development strategies to help them acquire and maintain necessary licenses.
• Research applicable federal and state regulations and apply findings to clients' products and services.
• Support clients in managing third-party relationships and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and surety bond providers.
• Assist in developing compliance and risk management programs, including drafting policies, procedures, and implementing new processes.
• Focus on money transmission (fiat and crypto), lending, loan brokering, collections, and mortgages.

Requirements

• 6+ years of regulatory licensing experience in the payments and lending spaces.
• Proven experience with de novo licensing, changes of control, and ongoing regulatory reporting at federal and state levels.
• Strong knowledge of the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS).
• Familiarity with state licensing and prudential requirements.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
