Analyst - Financial Control

Responsibilities

• Own legal entity financial statements, ensuring thorough analysis, review, and professional judgment.
• Perform month-end close accounting and reporting, including variance analysis and supporting commentary.
• Manage entity balance sheets, including reconciliation preparation and risk identification.
• Lead audit and compliance efforts, supporting both internal and statutory audits.
• Review revenues, costs, and profitability at both client and entity levels.
• Monitor and report on performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Identify areas of risk, under-performance, or improvement and develop action plans.
• Ensure financial compliance with contracts and manage debtors, creditors, and accruals.
• Supervise and manage the entity accounting team.
• Identify process improvements to enhance information delivery across the division.

Requirements

• Qualified or Semi-Qualified Accountant (CA, CWA, CIMA, or ACCA) or an MBA in Finance.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in R2R or core finance domains.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Flexibility to work in various shift timings.
