Analyst, Enhanced Due Diligence

Responsibilities

• Perform second line of defense (2LoD) enhanced due diligence reviews for high-risk clients, assessing ownership structures, business activities, and transactional behavior.
• Evaluate the completeness and accuracy of EDD documentation prepared by the first line of defense.
• Identify material risk indicators, including adverse media, sanctions exposure, and jurisdictional risks.
• Analyze client information to ensure risk ratings align with the Bank’s risk appetite framework.
• Prepare clear, structured, and auditable EDD review documentation for internal audit and regulatory scrutiny.
• Escalate complex issues, data gaps, or elevated risks to senior team members in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as AML Advisory, Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), and Sanctions teams.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in AML, KYC, EDD, or financial crime risk management.
• Foundational knowledge of AML/ATF and sanctions regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and concisely.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
