Analyst, EMEA Leveraged Finance Trading Desk

Responsibilities

• Review a wide variety of credits to produce commentary and analysis, identifying profitable trading opportunities.
• Formulate and express credit views and relative value across traded instruments.
• Collaborate with senior desk analysts on complex credits and communicate developments to traders in real time.
• Prepare concise summaries for Sales and pitch trading opportunities to clients.
• Manage desk inventory positions, including amendments, waivers, and restructuring.
• Network with market counterparts, including peer analysts, legal advisors, and restructuring advisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in leveraged loans and high yield bonds credit analysis and monitoring.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and cash flow modeling skills.
• Understanding of company valuation and basic concepts of debt documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple demands within tight deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
• Clear and impactful communication skills with confidence in client interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in a European language is desirable.
