Analyst, Cost Planning

Responsibilities

• Calculate and release standard manufacturing costs for Mexico and Central America operations using SAP or legacy systems.
• Coordinate the transfer process from CAE/PLM to GCT.
• Calculate man-hours for each harness within the GCT system.
• Perform standard costing for manufacturing plants and distribution centers for various material types (YDMs, YPK, YSFG, and YFG).
• Identify manufacturing cost differences and support costing in various test environments.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and perform Excel analyses as requested by management.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in cost planning and support their implementation.
• Coordinate with MDM, SCM, ME, SAP, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Technical degree, Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the cost area (for non-professional roles) or 1.5+ years (for professional roles).
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software.
• Ability to travel up to 10% nationally and internationally.
