About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the underwriting, monitoring, and active management of a corporate credit relationship portfolio
  • Perform detailed credit, financial statement, industry analysis, and projection modeling
  • Partner with senior portfolio managers on final credit memos, nCino, and loan documentation
  • Prepare discussion materials for internal presentations with leadership and risk partners
  • Support client needs related to credit and related products such as Interest Rate Swaps, FX, and Operating Exposure
  • Complete annual reviews, status updates, and watchlist updates to ensure accurate risk ratings and covenant compliance
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, and Product Partners to ensure appropriate credit structuring

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience or equivalent professional training
  • Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis and credit analysis
  • Experience with projection modeling and industry analysis
  • Ability to complete FINRA registrations (Series 63/66, 79, and SIE) within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in CIB Portfolio Management or Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Portfolio Management
  • Experience with leveraged lending
  • Basic understanding of investment banking, Capital Markets, M&A, and loan underwriting
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
