Analyst, Client Service - Middle Office

Responsibilities

• Provide client service support and transaction management for GCIB Relationship Managers, Portfolio Management, and Product Partners
• Assist with project implementation, communications, and stakeholder engagement initiatives
• Support credit-related and onboarding middle office functions, including transaction booking checking and risk control strategies
• Execute and manage the middle office support model for the Oceania region to streamline workflows
• Liaise with front office, operations, and risk teams to ensure seamless transaction processes and documentation compliance
• Provide guidance to clients and business partners on documentation, operational processes, and requirements for bilateral and syndication arrangements
• Perform general administration relating to customers, systems, facilities, and operations

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a banking middle office function, credit, portfolio, relationship, or lending team
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, banking, finance, or a related field
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and financial modeling skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the Australian industry, business, and economic landscape
• Ability to perform independent research and apply critical thinking with high attention to detail
• Intermediate skills in credit writing, financial analysis, legal documentation, and debt structuring
