About the role
Responsibilities
- Verify award funding in the City budget in consultation with DDC and OMB
- Guide funding recipients through the reimbursement process, including budget preparation and contract registration
- Inform funding recipients, consultants, and elected officials about project status
- Assist DDC Law Attorneys with providing necessary information and documents for legal agreements
- Collect and evaluate documentation for project approval, contract registration, and payment requisition
- Ensure compliance with City capital eligibility rules and vendor integrity database requirements
- Maintain program-related databases and Excel spreadsheets
- Coordinate with various oversight offices to ensure project progression
Requirements
- Must be permanent in the Staff Analyst title or reachable on the Open-Competitive List (Exam #3116)
- Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business, public administration, or a Juris Doctor degree; OR
- Baccalaureate degree and two years of professional experience in budget, accounting, or public administration; OR
- Associate degree and four years of relevant professional experience; OR
- High school diploma and six years of relevant professional experience
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without sponsorship
