Analyst

Responsibilities

• Verify award funding in the City budget in consultation with DDC and OMB
• Guide funding recipients through the reimbursement process, including budget preparation and contract registration
• Inform funding recipients, consultants, and elected officials about project status
• Assist DDC Law Attorneys with providing necessary information and documents for legal agreements
• Collect and evaluate documentation for project approval, contract registration, and payment requisition
• Ensure compliance with City capital eligibility rules and vendor integrity database requirements
• Maintain program-related databases and Excel spreadsheets
• Coordinate with various oversight offices to ensure project progression

Requirements

• Must be permanent in the Staff Analyst title or reachable on the Open-Competitive List (Exam #3116)
• Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business, public administration, or a Juris Doctor degree; OR
• Baccalaureate degree and two years of professional experience in budget, accounting, or public administration; OR
• Associate degree and four years of relevant professional experience; OR
• High school diploma and six years of relevant professional experience
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without sponsorship
