Analyst, A&R Administration

Responsibilities

• Provide critical operational support for A&R Administration and artist recording projects
• Manage vendor setups, including verification and account management
• Process purchase orders and invoices while maintaining meticulous records for audit purposes
• Prepare producer decs, work for hires, remix agreements, and union contracts (AFM and SAG-AFTRA)
• Maintain and organize departmental records, budgets, contracts, and digital filing systems
• Assist with internal and external royalty inquiries
• Support the preparation of financial project reports for the Label Roster

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in music administration, finance, or legal (preferably within a record label or entertainment company)
• Strong understanding of financial processes and basic knowledge of music industry contracts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with proprietary systems
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and collaborate across various teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Finance, or a related field
