Analyst, Accounts Receivable/P

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, validation, coding, and payment processing
• Perform invoice matching and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, receipts, and payments
• Monitor AP aging reports and reconcile vendor statements to ensure timely payment of obligations
• Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances
• Manage collection activities and collaborate with customers to resolve payment disputes and billing discrepancies
• Apply customer payments and investigate unapplied cash, short payments, or deductions
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including quarter-end reviews and audits
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
• Basic mathematical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Collections, and General Ledger (GL)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize workloads and work effectively under pressure
