Analyst 3, Import/Export

Responsibilities

• Classify products, components, and 3rd party supplier items using HTS and ECCN codes
• Apply GRI rules, Section Notes, Chapter Notes, and customs rulings during analysis
• Maintain and update classification data within Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM)
• Support trade operation initiatives and automation projects
• Coordinate with internal departments and shipment requestors to facilitate timely release of goods
• Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to resolve customs-related issues

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in HS & ECCN Classification or international trade
• Strong expertise in Harmonized System (HS) and ECCN classification methodology
• In-depth understanding of GRI, Section/Chapter Notes, and Customs rulings
• Knowledge of Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS and global customs compliance
• Experience with Oracle GTM or similar Global Trade Management systems
• Proficiency in import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
