Analyst 3, Import/Export

Responsibilities

• Classify products, components, and third-party supplier items by assigning HTS codes and ECCNs
• Apply General Rules of Interpretation (GRI), Section Notes, and Chapter Notes during classification analysis
• Maintain and update accurate classification data within Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM)
• Support trade operation initiatives and projects related to global trade and classification automation
• Liaise with internal departments, logistics, and procurement to facilitate timely shipment releases
• Resolve customs-related issues and discrepancies to ensure smooth cross-border movement of goods

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in HTS and ECCN classification and customs operations
• In-depth understanding of GRI, Section/Chapter Notes, and Customs rulings
• Expertise in Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and ECCN classification principles
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS and global customs compliance requirements
• Experience working with Oracle GTM or similar Global Trade Management systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
