Analyst 3, Import/Export

Responsibilities

• Classify products, components, and third-party supplier items by assigning HTS codes and ECCNs
• Apply General Rules of Interpretation (GRI), Section Notes, and Chapter Notes during classification analysis
• Maintain and update accurate classification data within Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM)
• Support trade operation initiatives and projects related to global trade and classification
• Identify opportunities to enhance classification processes, automation, and operational efficiency
• Liaise with internal departments and shipment requestors to facilitate timely shipment release
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and business partners to resolve customs-related issues

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in HS & ECCN Classification and customs operations
• Strong expertise in Harmonized System (HS) and ECCN classification methodology
• In-depth understanding of GRI, Section and Chapter Notes, and customs rulings
• Knowledge of Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and ECCN principles
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS and global customs compliance requirements
• Experience working with Oracle GTM or similar Global Trade Management systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
