Analyst 2, Import/Export

Responsibilities

• Independently manage STPI License and analyze international trade data to identify trends and risks
• Ensure all import/export transactions comply with local, national, and international customs regulations
• Prepare and review customs documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Classify goods based on Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate timely shipment release
• Identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions
• Recommend process improvements to streamline logistics operations and reduce turnaround time
• Manage key deliverables such as Bill of Entry verification, bonding/de-bonding of goods, and E-Way bills

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in STPI Unit handling, customs operations, and import/export documentation
• Strong knowledge of Foreign Trade policy, STPI, and Customs procedures
• Proficiency in SAP and Oracle GTM ERPs
• Experience with Harmonized System (HS) codes and goods classification
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Strong understanding of INCOTERMS and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with STPI Zone India requirements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
