Analyst 2, Import/Export

Responsibilities

• Independently manage STPI licenses and analyze international trade data to identify trends and risks.
• Ensure all import/export transactions comply with local, national, and international customs regulations.
• Prepare and review critical customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Classify goods accurately using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes.
• Coordinate with internal departments, carriers, forwarders, and brokers to facilitate timely shipment releases.
• Manage key deliverables such as Bill of Entry verification, bonding/de-bonding of goods, and E-Way bills.
• Identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or penalties.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations and reduce turnaround time.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience handling STPI units, customs operations, and import/export documentation.
• Deep knowledge of STPI and Customs procedures, Foreign Trade policy, and INCOTERMS.
• Proficiency in SAP and Oracle GTM ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of HTS/HS classification and customs clearance procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with authorities and stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex regulatory documents.
