Analyst 2 Import & Export

Responsibilities

• Manage license-related activities including Value-Added (VA) approvals and LMW license renewals
• Oversee Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) exemption processes for machinery, raw materials, and finished goods
• Prepare and submit MITI and SIRIM permits for regulated inbound shipments
• Coordinate end-to-end inbound shipment logistics with freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Act as the Logistics Department ISO Coordinator to ensure process alignment with internal standards
• Drive automation and digitization initiatives to improve data accuracy and reporting
• Maintain accurate trade-related databases and prepare operational metric reports

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in customs operations and international trade
• Proven track record in managing complex import/export transactions and compliance issues
• Experience with customs clearance procedures and documentation management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of LMW regulations and Malaysian Customs requirements
• Experience managing Exemption Lists (A1, A2, A3)
• Proficiency in SAP and enterprise resource planning systems
• Expertise in HS codes and goods classification
• Strong understanding of INCOTERMS and carrier coordination
