Analog/RF/High-Speed IC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and optimize analog, RF, and mixed-signal circuit blocks including TIAs, high-speed drivers, LNAs, PLLs/oscillators, clock distribution and equalization circuits
• Perform analyses using AC, transient, noise, jitter, linearity, stability, PVT, corner, and Monte Carlo simulations
• Collaborate with layout engineers on parasitic-aware implementation and post-layout verification
• Support silicon bring-up, lab characterization, debugging, and performance correlation versus simulation data
• Work with cross-functional teams to define specifications and drive design decisions

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related field
• 2–3 years of industry experience or equivalent hands-on research experience in analog, RF, mixed-signal, or high-speed IC design
• Strong understanding of analog circuit design fundamentals (gain, bandwidth, noise, linearity, feedback, stability)
• Knowledge of CMOS and/or FinFET device physics and high-frequency circuit behavior
• Experience with high-speed or RF blocks such as amplifiers, clocking circuits, SerDes, or optical interfaces
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for modeling and data analysis
• Knowledge of RF and electromagnetic simulation tools such as ADS or HFSS
• Experience with post-layout extraction and verification tools
• Familiarity with high-speed lab test equipment
