Analog/Mixed-Signal Sensor IP Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architecture, design, and development of analog/mixed-signal hard macros for the Sensor IP Design team
• Perform custom circuit design in the latest FinFET CMOS processes and beyond
• Create design specifications and behavioral models in Verilog
• Set up, run, and analyze circuit simulations
• Perform quality assurance procedures on developed hard macros
• Deliver hard macros and support customer integration and testing
• Perform silicon characterization analysis and prepare verification reports
• Participate in internal customer requirements discussions

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4 years of transistor-level analog mixed-signal design experience
• Experience with SPICE simulators and schematic capture tools
• Experience designing op-amps, bandgaps, differential amplifiers, VCO, AFE, and/or ADCs
• Proficiency in scripting to automate circuit design and verification work
• Knowledge of full-custom analog layout techniques and extract verification/sign-off
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a high-performance team

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of device physics and power distribution networks (PDN)
• Experience with mixed-signal design flow and SoC top-level integration
• Experience with advanced nanometer FinFET technology nodes (3nm and beyond)
