About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and execute comprehensive design verification strategies for Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal IPs to enable robust SoC development.
- Plan, architect, and develop integration test frameworks to evaluate compatibility, stability, and scalability across platforms.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis and impact assessments of different IP, tool, and methodology versions.
- Collaborate with AMS flow teams, PDK, IP teams, and EDA vendors to enable new features across advanced technology nodes (28nm to 5nm).
- Leverage AI-driven approaches to drive innovation, automation, and improvements in quality and productivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the Semiconductor or EDA domain.
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or a related engineering field.
- Strong expertise in Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal verification methodologies and EDA tools.
- Experience with Spectre, HSPICE, and Cadence AMS Designer.
- Proficiency in RF and EM tools such as Keysight ADS, HFSS, EMX, or Clarity.
- Familiarity with foundry PDKs, process components, and technology file configurations.
- Strong understanding of co-simulation across Analog, Digital, and RF domains.
- Scripting proficiency in SKILL, TCL, Python, or similar languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong fundamentals in Analog and RF circuit blocks (amplifiers, PLLs, ADC/DACs, mixers, oscillators, etc.).
- Knowledge of reliability and aging analysis, including BTI, HCI, and EM effects.
- Expertise in building top-level verification environments for IP and subsystems.
- Understanding of parasitic effects, PVT variations, and post-layout verification.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
